On Thursday, March 31st, my campaign will face its first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of 2022 and it could not be more important that we meet our $25,000 goal. We’re counting on you, John. I’m counting on you, personally.

In recent weeks, Ron DeSantis and his Republican colleagues in the State Legislature have passed a series of anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ+, and anti-choice bills that are so cruel and regressive, I fear they will permanently change the character of Florida. We’ve got an uphill battle in front of us.

But look, I’m no stranger to overcoming challenges, John.

I arrived in the United States at the age of 17 after being chased from Colombia by a Marxist terrorist group with ties to the Castro regime.

When I arrived in America, I worked hard to learn English, get good grades, and take care of my family the best I could. It wasn’t always easy – but even during the hardest times, I truly believed in this country. And that belief helped me persevere and keep moving.

We need new leadership. Ron DeSantis is pulling Florida onto the wrong side of history. I’m running for Governor against him because I cannot simply sit idly by while he targets marginalized communities in a gross, early bid for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

My campaign is facing a critical $25,000 end-of-quarter fundraising goal and the deadline is on Thursday, March 31st. John, I’m asking you this personally:
