I started playing tennis when I was 10. By the time I was 13, it was all I wanted to do.

I wasn’t the best player at my high school, but I was good enough to make the team. What mattered was I still had hope that with enough practice, I could have been the best.

I’m worried that young women won’t have that same hope. I’m worried that some women won’t even have the chance to be the best in their schools, much less in their districts and states.

Across the sporting world, the game is being rigged against women and in favor of biological men.

Transgender kids deserve support and respect. The fact remains, however, that biological boys and girls are built differently. The best male athletes have a natural advantage over the best female athletes.

You have to ignore science not to see it.

On this critical issue, women’s rights are moving in the wrong direction.

If this trend isn’t stopped, the achievements of so many brave women over so many years will be erased. That’s wrong. It’s insulting. And women know it, too, whether they’re retired athletes, middle-aged mothers, or a 16-year-old girl thinking of signing up for swimming.

So I’m asking you to join me today in signing the petition to stand for women in women’s sports. This isn’t about tearing people down. This is about supporting women.
