We’ve heard the harrowing stories of women risking sexual exploitation, trafficking and violence in search of a better life in the United States. And while many had heard about this administration’s horrific immigration policies, they couldn’t have imagined they would stripped of their dignity, safety and their visibility as human beings once they arrived.

This can’t go on. And with your help, it won’t.

NOW launched the Unlock the Future campaign to bring urgently needed attention to women held prisoner by Trump’s cruel, racist and misogynist immigration policies. But we can’t do it without your support!

We must advocate for the women and girls locked away as they sought freedom from violence and oppression. They can’t speak truth to power from inside those walls and cages—but with your help NOW can amplify their voices and demand women have access to vital human needs such as hygiene products and health care.

Anti-immigrant lawmakers must be told how the policies they support and protect are endangering people’s lives—and shaming our nation. This year alone sexual assault complaints in detention jails have increased by 158%. The number of women who have suffered miscarriages while in government detention nearly doubled since 2016. The time to act is NOW!
