Easter is just a few weeks away and many people will be looking forward to a break from work and a chance to enjoy the weather.

Sadly, for animals in zoos, mobile zoos and aquariums, this weekend will be one of their worst. 

Historically, Easter weekend has been one of the busiest for the captive animal industry. With kids on holiday and zoos providing plenty of baby animals for the public to see, it's clear to see why. And you can imagine the crowds. And the extra stress on the animals forced on display.

This is why every Easter weekend we hold Zoo Awareness Weekend to put a focus on these animals and the fight for their freedom. 

So take this chance to speak up for them, by taking part across the weekend!

Here's what you can do:

• It goes without saying but... boycott zoos, mobile zoos and aquariums! 
• Order campaign materials for the weekend! FREE of charge, just reply to this email or order here: https://www.freedomforanimals.org.uk/shop
• You could do a door drop of leaflets in your local area, hold a stall in your town centre or local library, or give to friends and family, or hold a protest. 
• Take action online! Over the weekend we will be sharing our latest investigation - follow us and share them over the weekend!

• Host a meal or fancy dress party at your house and raise funds for the campaign to free animals!
