Fight for Progress is back with your next round in our contest to see which races you are excited about this year—and today, you are picking which Republican governor you want to defeat most in November.

The choice isn’t easy: You can vote for either Texas Governor Greg Abbott or Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Abbott and DeSantis try to outdo each other in a contest to see who can be the most bigoted as they attack women’s rights, LGBTQ+ children, and the right to vote. But only one can move on to the next round.

By voting to defeat Greg Abbott, your contributions will go to his opponent, Beto O’Rourke.

In Florida, you are chipping in to support the Florida Democratic party’s efforts to defeat DeSantis.
