John,
Europe is in the midst of the largest refugee crisis since World War II. Approximately 10 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine with 3.7 million fleeing into neighboring countries.
Poland has taken in by far the largest single group of Ukrainian refugees―2.2 million.
As President Biden visits Poland today and as our NATO allies meet to discuss an international response to this evolving crisis, there’s something you can do.
Click here to donate directly to three nonprofits doing critical work supporting the Ukrainian people today.
Americares is delivering medicine, medical supplies, and emergency funding to Ukraine to help war victims access essential health care services.
The International Rescue Committee is working to rush critical aid to displaced Ukrainian families.
And, the World Central Kitchen, headed by chef and humanitarian José Andrés, is in Poland providing meals for the many refugees pouring into the country.
Click here to split a donation between these three nonprofits doing critical work in Ukraine and Europe to support the millions of Ukrainians impacted by Vladimir Putin’s war. (These are direct contributions to these groups; no funds go to the Coalition on Human Needs.)
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your secure donation will go through immediately, split evenly between Americares, the International Rescue Committee, and World Central Kitchen:
Thank you for all that you do for the human needs of people at home and abroad.
