That is the number of votes I won by in 2016 – less than half a percentage point. In campaigns, we call that a field margin. In a close race like that, winning depends on being on the ground early and talking to every voter you can.  

This year is shaping up to be just as competitive. Mitch McConnell and his allies have spent over $7.5 million on attack ads, and there are millions more on the way.  I'm the GOP's number one target – it's why my team started earlier than ever to get staff on the ground, reach every Granite Stater, and build a winning campaign. 

What happens in New Hampshire could determine the fate of the Senate. That's why it's so important for us to reach our fundraising targets, like our upcoming end-of-quarter goal.
