John, we’re facing a critical Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline in six days. This means that our fundraising numbers will be made public for everyone to see for the first time this year.

Polling has our primary race in a dead heat, and we can’t show any signs of weakness. That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise another $12,460 ahead of the FEC deadline. Can you chip in $5 – or any amount – right now?

After this filing deadline, political pundits will be able to see how much grassroots strength we have against an opponent who's been propped hundreds of thousands of dollars in corporate contributions. If we come up short of our goal, special interests will be emboldened to spend even more against us.
