Friend, Happy Maryland Day!

John and Michelle here. As proud Marylanders who couldn’t imagine living anywhere else, we wanted to take a minute to talk about how special Maryland is to us and how proud we are to be running to represent the state we feel lucky to call home.

John here: My family roots in Maryland date back to at least the early 1800s, but for my wife Melissa and me it is the diversity of Maryland - from the incredible racial and cultural diversity of the people to the extraordinary variation in the geography from Mountain Maryland to the Chesapeake to Ocean City - that made us choose to raise our family here.

Michelle here: As soon as I began law school in Maryland, there was something about living here that I’d never felt anywhere else. The authenticity and small town feel instantly made me feel at home, and ultimately my husband and I chose to make our home here because we found a community where we feel connected with those around us.

We are both so grateful to be raising our families in this incredible state, and we are thrilled to be running for Governor and Lt. Governor to build upon everything we love so much and transform that promise into the progress all Marylanders deserve.
