Jeff is back from participating at last weekend’s California Democratic Convention (CADEM). The big piece of campaign business was the final endorsement vote in our 7th Congressional District. Ours was the last California district with an incumbent Democratic running for re-election who had yet to be endorsed by the party – which is as great an indicator of how vulnerable Ami Bera is this cycle. 

But no surprise, the incumbent ultimately did find the votes he needed. However, Burdick for Congress surprised many with our final endorsement tally finishing solidly in double digits. This indicates we are continuing our strong, consistent upward glide of support and name recognition with 3½ months to go until the March 3 primary. 

Much hard work remains to unify voters unsatisfied with Ami Bera’s corporate-backed, party-straddling ways. And all data points show Bera is even more ripe for upset than last year when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez beat incumbent Congressman Joe Crowley. So help amplify this campaign’s message locally by volunteering your time and donations today. Remember, Jeff is accepting no donations outside our district so he can represent only the voters of this district.
