It's been four long weeks since war broke out in Ukraine. It's been devastating to watch this crisis unfold.
In emergencies like these, your compassionate support can make a BIG difference. When you rush an emergency gift right now, you're helping our teams on the ground welcome refugees, support people still trying to evacuate Ukraine, and provide emergency assistance like groceries, blankets and warm clothes.

Friend, we spoke with some of the over 2 million people who have become refugees in Poland. Here's what they had to say in their own words:
Iryna (pictured above) was still on maternity leave when the conflict in Ukraine began, but she quickly realized that she would have to flee with her 1-year-old daughter Varvara to find safety. She told us:
"It is difficult to describe how scary it is to hear sirens all the time. We had to go to basements and shelters several times a day. For the journey, we took only essentials, like children's clothes and hygiene items. I took [what] we could carry. We're so grateful for all the help we've been given."
Anastasiia is 24 years old. She fled Ukraine with her mother and minor brother, and they were able to find safety in Poland. Anastasiia said:
"It was a hard decision to come here because my dad can't be with us — men are not allowed to go abroad. But we decided to leave because no one knows what will happen today or tomorrow. A lot of my friends and family stayed in Ukraine. It's their native country and they don't want to leave it, they want to defend it. In the beginning, we thought maybe this would be resolved in a week. Now, it's been more than ten days, the same situation. But we don't lose hope."
We're proud to support refugees like Iryna and Anastasiia, who are refusing to lose hope in the toughest of circumstances. Will you make an urgent donation today to help us provide the critical support displaced people need?
