Our end of quarter deadline: what it means
John, I’ll skip the bullshit and puns of fundraising emails and tell you that our end of quarter deadline is coming up on March 31st—can you chip in before then?
If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly:
We’re trying to end the quarter strong because after March 31st, we’re required to publicly report how much we’ve raised over the past three months. Our opponent and conservative groups trying to flip the House will be very carefully watching this number. This spring is when many of these outside groups decide where to invest their resources, and we want to show them that they don’t have a shot here in CA-47.
March 31st is also a marker for our campaign. In April and May, we’ll be opening field offices, ramping up our efforts to reach voters over the phone and in-person, and officially launching our 2022 campaign. All of these things take resources, and your contribution today will help us run a strategic and effective campaign.
I know that this could be my toughest race yet. Nearly 70% of the voters I need to reach are new to me. This district also contains an equal number of Democrats and Republicans, and deep red strongholds like Newport Beach.
If you can, consider making a donation ahead of our March 31st deadline. It will go a long way in showing the GOP that I’m not going anywhere.
