Dear John,

This Monday, starting at 5pm ET, we are having two Mobilization Tour stops in the same night! Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis will be representing the campaign in her home state of Wisconsin, while Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II will be rallying folks in North Carolina. While these are two separate events, they are both for the same cause—bringing as many people as possible to Washington, D.C., for the Mass Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls.

It’s more important than ever to mobilize poor and low-wage workers across the country, and we want you to join us!

We’re up against the 5 interlocking injustices of poverty, systemic racism, the false moral narrative of religious nationalism, ecological devastation, and the war economy. These weapons are wielded against poor and low-wage people in this country to disempower, diminish, and ultimately destroy us. It’s time for the priorities and demands of poor and low-wealth people to be taken seriously. We are taking our power back by getting mobilized, organized, registered, educated, empowered, and engaged for a movement that votes! For these regional Moral Mondays, we’ll be joined by state leaders from Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa in Wisconsin, and by South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia in North Carolina. Poor and low-income leaders from each community will share their stories and strategize about how we will confront these forces together on June 18th in Washington, D.C., and beyond.

Our Mass Poor People’s & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and Moral March on Washington and to the Polls is not simply a day of action. It is a declaration of an ongoing and committed moral movement to 1) Shift the moral narrative; 2) Build power; 3) Make real policies to fully address poverty and low-wealth from the bottom up. Join us online on March 28 as we continue our Mobilization Tour towards June 18, 2022.

Forward together, not one step back!
