When we learned that $8 million dollars had been diverted away from Peterson Air Force Base for President Trump’s border wall, I was outraged—like a lot of Coloradans.

Now, according to a new report, it looks like Cory Gardner wasn’t even working to protect the funding, nor was he even in touch with military officials at Peterson to let them know what was coming.

Gardner’s desperate efforts to curry favor with Donald Trump have real consequences for our state and country.

Those taxpayer funds were appropriated to our military here in Colorado. The fact that Cory Gardner is standing by and letting those resources go to President Trump’s border wall is shameful.

Will you sign our petition today and remind Cory Gardner that he works for the people of Colorado, not for Donald Trump?

I can promise you that as your Senator, I would have done everything in my power to stop this. I’ll always put Coloradans first.
