Hi team,
On Tuesday we celebrated World Water Day — a UN Observance that celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2 billion people currently living without access to safe water (2 million of which live in the U.S.).
Now we have an exciting update (!):
💧Mary Gay and House Democrats have passed a clean water bill!💧
And on top of that, Mary Gay’s amendment to the Water Resources and Development Act of 2022 will authorize $50 million for stormwater/sewer overflow infrastructure projects in the Philadelphia region.
Team MGS understands that many PA families have struggled with the crumbling water infrastructure in our commonwealth. That’s why Mary Gay has taken a stand for clean water as a human right and climate resilient infrastructure.
If you agree that PA needs updated water infrastructure, instantly add your name here. [[link removed]]
