They want you to ignore the fact that states like these haven’t adopted their congressional maps yet:

FLORIDA, where extreme Gov. DeSantis is trying to out-gerrymander the legislature’s gerrymander

OHIO, where Republicans are trying to run out the clock before the 2022 elections by submitting round after round of gerrymandered maps

NEW HAMPSHIRE, where Gov. Sununu made a promise to veto a gerrymandered congressional map… but vetoed the redistricting reform that could have helped prevent this in the first place

MISSOURI, where Republicans are falling over themselves to create the worst possible gerrymander, leading to an impasse

LOUISIANA, where Democratic Gov. Edwards vetoed the GOP-controlled legislature’s manipulated map, leading to an impasse

These five states collectively have 59 congressional districts – that’s nearly 15% of all congressional seats nationwide! And that’s not even mentioning all the litigation that could “reset” the maps in other states.

So John – are you going to do what Republicans want and stop paying attention to the ongoing redistricting cycle? Or will you double down on your engagement by rushing a donation to help us keep fighting for fairness in every state?
