After inciting outrage for calling the Ukrainian President a “thug” and his country “incredibly evil,” we are now seeing yet another crystal clear example of Madison Cawthorn’s extreme beliefs and dangerous behavior.

We all remember that Cawthorn used incendiary language to rile up the crowd that would later storm the Capitol on January 6th.

Now we are seeing resurfaced video from January 6th, 2021 in which Cawthorn boasted that he had not only smuggled weapons into the Capitol on the day of the insurrection, but that he was arming those around him.

Cawthorn has shown us who he is: a young man who has been radicalized. He’s not only a threat to our democratic institutions, but to the safety of our community.

That’s why we need to elect Jasmine as NC-11’s next Congresswoman – she’s a real leader who will unite us with compassion instead of divide us with fear-mongering.
