I asked Chris if I could reach out today to talk about why defending our House majority has never been more important. Last December, I visited New Hampshire and saw firsthand how hard Chris fights for Granite Staters. And it's no secret that NH-01 will be one of the most competitive House races in the country this year.

That's why the New Hampshire GOP is trying so hard to gerrymander this district, and it's why national Republicans and dark money groups are set on spending whatever it takes to unseat Chris.

The future of voting rights, reproductive freedom, affordable health care, our environment, and so much more depend on the results of this year's midterm elections. Election Day is now less than eight months away, and we can't afford to waste any time when so much is at stake.

So I'm asking for your help: Will you join me in supporting my friend Chris Pappas by chipping in what you can before his end-of-quarter deadline on Thursday?

We can't forget that only five House seats are stopping national Republicans from taking back the House majority, and battleground districts like Chris's are on the frontline.

It's very possible that the House majority could come down to what happens in New Hampshire, and Chris needs the resources to prepare for whatever national Republicans throw his way. I know we can protect our House and Senate majorities to stop national Republicans, but we need to band together and work harder than ever before.
