This Week at CMD

This week the Center for Media and Democracy (CMD) published a report on the biggest nonprofit funders of climate disinformation.

Many are aware that the fossil fuel industry has funded misinformation for profit over several decades, but lesser known nonprofit organizations have been key to the creation and spread of harmful falsehoods about climate science, to the detriment of our planet. Among the nonprofit entities that bankroll climate misinformation are ideological funding vehicles, rightwing family foundations, and donor-advised fund sponsors tied to mainstream investment firms.

CMD also reported on the Council for National Policy, the secretive Christian-right organization that pulls the strings in Washington, and dark money spending in U.S. Senate races.

Here's the latest!
