So far, participants have pledged to pick up almost 200,000 bags of litter during the campaign, and that number is growing every day.

This year, our message is simple. Join the #BigBagChallenge and pledge to pick up as much litter as you can during the campaign.
Maybe you'll pick one bag of rubbish - one bag makes a big difference, after all - or maybe you'll team up with friends or family and pick 100 over the duration of the campaign!
Some people pick on their daily dog walk, and others go plogging. (That's picking litter while jogging!) Whatever your style, we're sure you're up to the challenge!

NEW RESEARCH REVEALS THE BENEFITS OF ECO-ACTION
Litter-picking isn't just good for the environment. It's good for us too. According to new research from YouGov in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy, 60% of children aged six to 17 feel happier when taking 'eco-action' outside, like litter-picking.
With eco-anxiety on the rise, taking action can help to alleviate concerns about our environment. 40% of those surveyed agreed that taking eco-action made them feel like they are taking control and doing something positive for the environment.
