John,

In 2001 we placed an undercover investigator inside of one of America’s largest “Class B” dog dealer facilities.

What he found was worse than a dog hell.

The facilities were horrific. The dogs were kept in filthy overcrowded cages, in freezing temperatures, and starved. The dogs would constantly have to fight for their food.

It was common for the dogs to always be injured with bite marks and open wounds.

And it was also common to find out in the morning that a dog died overnight due to those wounds.

Class B dog dealers sell animals to animal research laboratories.

And the types of practices we just described were quite prevalent among them.

They are supposed to meet certain standards to be able to operate legally but the controls are so lax that they are able to keep functioning this way.

Most obtain animals from dog auctions, flea markets, or small breeders.

But a lot of them simply buy dogs from “bunchers”...

People who drive around neighborhoods and take any animal they can get their hands on - even if they are in fenced yards.

The operation we told you about in this email was shut down in 2002 and hundreds of dogs were saved, not to mention the thousands of dog that would have suffered the same fate.

Without your support, Class B dog dealers could easily open up these same type of facilities again without any type of backlash or consequences.

If you want to know how you can help us stop these practices and keep dogs safe, just follow the link below.

For the animals,
Lisa
