We have no choice but to share some difficult news with our Grassroots Army this morning. We had sincerely hoped to avoid it. 

Yesterday, we emailed our members and informed them that we projected a massive 40% shortfall for the month of March.

We hoped that with support from our membership ranks that we could sufficiently turn this situation around.

We didn't want to have to admit to everyone that we might fail. But now we simply have no choice.

Despite some heroic assistance from our members (you have our gratitude), we are still on track to fall short by 28 percent. 

And while this may just sound like a number on a spreadsheet, the effects could be very real and harmful to FPC.

As you know, we are in the middle of pre-funding potential legal action against Washington state over their magazine ban.

What's more, our legal division is readying the next round of lawsuits - which we anticipate will make a real dent in the anti-gun agenda. 

However, falling short this month could have severe consequences for this vital work. And we cannot afford that.
