Last year Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and within moments terror and despair took over our television screens.

Now, we are seeing a similar situation play out in Ukraine, where as a result of naked Russian aggression, millions of people are now in need of emergency aid.

Fortunately, we are not powerless.
