Friends,

In this week’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson has proven time and again that she is exceedingly qualified to be the next member of SCOTUS.

Judge Jackson will be the FIRST Black woman and the first public defender to ever serve on the Supreme Court of the United States. She served as a clerk to Justice Breyer, the Justice she is nominated to replace on the Supreme Court. She has more experience as a trial judge than all of the current justices combined — and she has already been confirmed by the U.S. Senate with bipartisan support three times!

The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to vote on the Judge’s nomination on Monday, but Republicans could try to delay that vote. Add your name right now to urge the Senate to confirm Judge Jackson without delay. [[link removed]]

This will be a historic moment for America, and a defining moment for the Biden Presidency. It is past time for a Black woman to serve on this nation’s highest court — and that woman is Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Thank you,
