I need every Democrat to hear this: If we cannot keep Pennsylvania’s 8th district blue, we won’t be able to keep the House blue. It’s that simple.

Matt Cartwright in PA-08 is one of just FIVE Democrats running for re-election in a district that Trump won in 2020, and the Republican Party has already cited him by name as one of their top targets in 2022.

His opponent is running ads with Steve Bannon in them, while PACs are dumping hundreds of thousands into negative TV ads.

If there were any questions about what Republicans were willing to try to take back the House, we’re seeing it unfold in Pennsylvania.

That’s why I’m emailing you, John. Matt Cartwright’s finances go public after March 31st, and if we don’t show that we’re united behind him, we leave him open to even more attacks. Can I count on you to step up now and donate?

I’ve been in Democratic politics for a long time, and I know that unless we start building a powerful movement now, it will be too late to protect Matt Cartwright's seat. Kevin McCarthy’s party is doing whatever it takes to flip the House, and Democrats need to wake up before it’s too late.

This isn’t just about Pennsylvania, it’s about protecting our democracy and having a Congress willing to work with President Biden’s agenda rather than obstruct and delay for the next two years.

So please, before we close the books on the first quarter of 2022, donate whatever you can afford, even if that’s just $25, to Matt Cartwright’s campaign.
