Tickets on sale for Mother's Day weekend event

Looking to celebrate Mother's Day weekend with the family or maybe a fun outing with friends? Don't miss Wine on the Fox presented by john green Realtor on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. This family-friendly event offers live music, food and the opportunity to taste from a selection of more than 100 wines. Learn more and buy tickets.


Spring cleaning

With warmer weather arriving in Oswego, you may have started cleaning your yard and garden, as well as the inside of your home. Please note the following services and start dates: 

Yard waste pick-up
Starting the week of April 4, Groot will collect landscape waste in Kraft bags with stickers affixed.

Spring clean-up
The week of April 18, Groot will pick up bulk items, yard waste in Kraft bags and additional garbage, at no additional charge. View acceptable items for spring clean-up.

Brush collection
Beginning the weeks of May 2 and May 9, the Village offers free pick-up of branches that are less than five inches in diameter from trees and shrubs. Learn more about the pick-up schedule by zone and the do's and don'ts of preparing your brush for collection. 


Harness spring showers with rain barrels

Save money on your water bill and help the environment by installing a rain barrel.

Choose from a variety of colors and options at a discounted rate from Upcycle Products. Order online by April 20 and your rain barrel will delivered to Public Works for pick-up on April 22 or 23. Learn more about rain barrels and water conservation.

Volunteers wanted!

Volunteers are needed for our popular Wine on the Fox event on May 7 and 8. Sign up to help with set-up, check-in, clean-up and a variety of other opportunities. 

If you recruit a group of people to volunteer from a non-profit organization, your team may be eligible for a financial donation.
