Democrats have extremely narrow margins in the U.S. Senate and House right now. There’s so much on the line and zero margin for error.

But we have a huge opportunity in North Carolina to hold and even expand these majorities.

We’ve seen two major developments in the last month. First, the North Carolina Supreme Court rejected Republicans’ extreme gerrymandering and finally secured fair maps for North Carolinians. And then just recently, a second poll was released showing Cheri Beasley in a statistical tie with our Republican opponents.

This gives us a chance to actually flip a number of seats and increase the number of Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate — meaning we can get more done for the people. But first, we need your help to win in November:

And as our presumptive nominee for U.S. Senate, it is Cheri’s responsibility to lead our entire ticket in November. Our campaign must build the largest statewide organizing operation our state has ever seen in order to win.

If we work hard to organize and get massive turnout, this is the year we can flip a Senate seat with Cheri and actually send more Democrats to the U.S. House from North Carolina.

Some pundits want to say history is against us this cycle, but with Cheri’s historic candidacy and new fairer maps, Democrats can come together to defy history.
