Today, we're so excited to announce that our 2022 Texas Democratic Convention will be led by Co-Chairs Representatives Jessica González and Julie Johnson, alongside Honorary Chair Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson.
Representatives González and Johnson are so excited to welcome thousands of Texas Democrats to Dallas this summer, joining them in their stomping grounds at the biggest party in Texas. These Representatives are strong champions of our Democratic values, and as our first female LGBTQ convention chairs, we’re beyond proud to break this glass ceiling in our convention history with them.
The two of them will be joined by Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, who I know will bring valuable insight to our party convention as we gear up to take back our state this November.
It takes a lot of hard work from many dedicated Texas Democrats to put on a convention the size of ours, not to mention the support of people like you. Friend, every dollar counts.
