This is the most honest possible email we can send about the importance of making a donation before our FEC fundraising deadline ends.

This is going to be one of the most expensive races in the country.

That’s a fact.

Corporate special interest groups and Super PACs are able to collect checks of unlimited amounts, and they’ll spend that money trying to beat Mark. They’ve already started.

But we do things differently. First, Mark won’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. He’s out to represent people like you — not them. And second, there’s a legal limit to the amount of money people can contribute to our campaign.

That means we need LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of donations if we’re going to be able to withstand the outside money.

So if Mark is going to win, he needs you to make your first donation to this campaign. It’s our only chance.
