Right now, it is easier than ever for dangerous individuals to get their hands on firearms by circumventing our gun laws – put simply: Anyone can make deadly assault weapons at home.

It's a scary reality, John. Recently, authorities found a 'full-scale ghost gun factory in San Jose, CA. And the suspects? All convicted of a crime which should prohibit them from owning any firearm. Homemade, untraceable ghost guns don't have no serial numbers, regulations, nor background checks and regulating these weapons is essential in addressing our nation's deadly gun epidemic.

That's why Brady is taking critically important, lifesaving action to regulate ghost guns. Brady Legal filed the nation’s first civil lawsuit against the ghost gun industry, representing the victims and survivors of a horrific shooting rampage involving a homemade AR-15-style rifle. This follows victories helping pass FOUR landmark local ordinances to ban ghost guns — the first local bans of their kind in the country.
