My name is Meredith, and I’m the Finance Director on Peter’s campaign for Senate. I’m in charge of keeping track of our fundraising, and we have our biggest deadline yet coming up at the end of the month. I’ll explain why it’s so important in a minute. I’ve worked for Peter for a long time, which means I’ve watched him serve the people of Vermont with dignity and grace. He’s exactly the kind of person we need representing us in the Senate: his kindness, his empathy, and his ability to listen all exemplify the best of Vermont.

But if we’re going to elect him to the Senate, we need to work together to get it done. With Mitch McConnell, Rick Scott, and national Republicans looking to buy this seat and retake the Senate, we have to show them that Vermont isn’t for sale.

I’m from Richmond, and my favorite part of living in Vermont is the sense of community that surrounds us. That’s one of the reasons I’m so proud to work for Peter—he takes that sense of Vermont community to Washington, and fights for us.
