I woke up this morning more determined than ever that we can and must win
in Ohio in 2022.
At the latest Republican debate on Monday ALL BUT ONE of the Republican
candidates STILL agreed that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, and
that his supporters should continue to pursue their absurd idea of
“justice”. [ [link removed] ]It gets worse but before I get into the rest, we are a few
days away from our crucial end-of-quarter deadline and I need your help to
stand up for the people of Ohio. Can you chip in $5 today to
power this campaign?
Like I said, it gets worse. When reminded on stage that he said, "I don't
really care what happens to Ukraine one way or another” in a previous
interview, J.D. Vance instead pivoted to Trump’s border wall with Mexico
to win political points.
Oh, and Mike Gibbons claimed that women have never been oppressed. He
said, and I quote:
“I don’t know if oppressed is the right word. It was a different world,
that’s all…”
I’ve said before that I’ll debate anyone, anywhere about the issues here
in Ohio. I would love to meet Mike Gibbons on the debate stage so he can
explain to my face what a “different world” it was when women and people
of color had fewer rights and “didn’t face oppression.”
As you can see I’m up against some misogynistic and bigoted opponents. It
isn’t an exaggeration when I say that we can’t afford for any of my
Republican opponents to win this seat and stop any chance we have at
passing progressive policy. We are building a movement to take them on but
first we have to win on May 3rd.

Unlike my Republican opponents I don’t take any money from corporate PACs
or have million dollar donors in my back pocket funding my campaign.
We’re building a movement for the people and by the people. That’s why I

before we reach our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline on March
31? It’s imperative that we ramp up our fundraising to be able to fight
back against our Republican opponents.
