The good news is that together, we've helped prevent Republicans in many states from doing the kind of gerrymandering they wanted to.

President Obama: 'It's now unlikely that control of the [U.S. House of Representatives] will be determined strictly by the way maps are drawn.'

The bad news is that the GOP hasn't slowed down at all – in fact, they're going even further.

It's true, John. Republicans are using all sorts of tricks to keep their manipulated maps, working to reelect politicians who support gerrymandering and stack state Supreme Courts, and promoting dangerous legal theories that undercut the branches of government they don't control.
