Hi Friend,
Today marks one month since Russia launched a military operation that rapidly escalated into a war across much of Ukraine. In that time, millions of people have fled their homes, and hospitals throughout the country have struggled to care for the injured.
Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are prepared to remain on the ground and deliver aid for as long as it is needed, in Ukraine and the more than 70 other countries where we work. We could really use your help.
We know that as an MSF supporter, you care deeply about ensuring access to lifesaving aid for people who need it most. In addition to the unfolding crisis in Ukraine, MSF teams around the world are tackling other urgent health needs that have fallen out of the headlines.
We also continue to endure the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been exacerbated by the inequitable global distribution of vaccines, treatments, and tests.
This email was sent from the U.S. section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
