John —

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearings have begun! Together, we’ve watched Judge Jackson represent the diversity of this nation as she testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

America has never seen a Supreme Court nominee like Ketanji Brown Jackson. She’s the first Black woman ever nominated to our highest court and a distinguished jurist with years of experience in fairly applying our laws.

I’m proud to watch history being made this week, but I’m disgusted by the GOP’s efforts to turn this process into a Kavanaugh grievance hearing.

Mitch McConnell’s lackeys are still angry that Democrats demanded accountability during Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings in 2018. They know Judge Jackson is overwhelmingly qualified – that’s why they’re dwelling on the past to distract from her exceptional record.

It is crucial that Judge Jackson receive fair hearing in the Senate – free from bad-faith attacks and the airing of GOP grievances. Please add your name to my petition if you agree: [[link removed]]

Thanks for standing with me on this.
