President Joe Biden signed the 2022 Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization into law!

Since the start of the pandemic, violence against women has increased, and the programs the VAWA supports are more essential than ever. The VAWA Reauthorization Act will expand prevention efforts and protections for survivors, strengthen sexual assault prevention and education efforts, support crisis centers, and broaden access to legal services for all survivors.

It shouldn't matter if you're a Democrat or a Republican — violence against women is a global crisis, and America needs to be a leader in implementing policies that help survivors. Thanks to the countless activists who didn't give up on this lifesaving legislation, the VAWA is once again the law of the land.

Combatting domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking is a matter of justice and compassion. I hope you'll join me today in supporting the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 by adding your name.
