John,
Deadlines for hearing bills are approaching and the Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, Rep. Mike Nelson, is refusing to hear the Ranked Choice Voting for MN bill, despite having several duplicate bills and 43 cosponsors in the House [[link removed]] !
This is important. At a time when our democracy is under attack and the demand to protect and strengthen our democracy couldn’t be stronger, there’s resistance.
Your action is needed right now. Email your representative and, ask them to sign the bill if they haven’t already (HF 1375) and to contact Chair Nelson and ask him to give the bill a hearing!
There’s no time to waste.

"I’m reaching out to let you know how important Ranked Choice Voting is to me and just learned that the RCV for MN bill is stalled in the House because Rep. Mike Nelson, chair of the State Government Finance Committee, won’t give the RCV bill a hearing.
Please contact Rep. Nelson and ask him to hear the bill. And email me to confirm that you have taken this action.
Thank you for taking this important step."
Thank you for taking this important and urgent action!!!
