Every two years, M.I.T. produces a highly respected and non-partisan "Election Performance Index" that ranks states' management of elections.

For 2022, Minnesota was ranked #2. It’s a spectacular showing.

My goal as Secretary of State will always be to sustain the excellence that makes Minnesota the envy of the nation. Our election system is fundamentally fair, accurate, honest, and secure.

Minnesotans know that, and now another trusted source has now validated that.

Unfortunately, if elected, one of my opponents has said that she will dismantle many of these safeguards that make our elections so fair. We cannot allow that to happen.

That’s why having the biggest showing for our first public fundraising deadline is so critical. We’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $20,000 before March 31st. Help us reach that by chipping in now →

The Election Performance Index uses many indicators, such as voter turnout, access for voters, ballot rejection rates, and post-election audits.

In category after category, Minnesota excelled.

I'm proud of the teamwork we used to achieve this result - especially in the face of so many challenges over the past two years.
