This is extremely disappointing, Republicans have decided to greet a historic Supreme Court nomination with a political circus this week.

Senator Lindsey Graham pressed Ketanji Brown Jackson to rate her religious faith ‘on a scale of 1 to 10’ — a question that has no relevance to a Supreme Court justice.

On the other (horrible) hand, Senator Ted Cruz doubled down on the right-wing critical race theory talking point by absurdly asking Ketanji Brown Jackson, "Do you agree...that babies are racist?"

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will make history as the first Black female Supreme Court justice despite some Senate Republicans making her confirmation hearing all about them.

However, this underscores the serious reality that Democrats must maintain our majorities in the House and Senate in 2022. We can’t let the party of critical race theory and religious litmus tests regain control of Congress.
