Friend —

We'll keep this quick, but can you please give us a minute to explain why Chris Van Hollen needs you to make a $3 donation to his U.S. Senate re-election campaign before our FEC deadline one week from today?

This week our country witnessed partisan political theater at its worst during Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation hearings. And this was just a glimpse into the GOP's strategy for this year's midterms.

The truth is the 2022 Republican strategy is just gearing up – and we can expect more gross distortions of fact, more disingenuous attacks, and more underhanded tactics as election day draws closer.

That means we need to prepare now for whatever they may throw at us. Nothing less than control of the Senate and any chance at further progress over the next two years of the Biden administration is at stake.

So when our March report goes public after our FEC deadline one week from today, we must be sure our numbers reflect the enormous strength of this grassroots movement and our determination to defy the odds of this midterm election and keep Democrats in control.

We set a modest fundraising goal that can help us demonstrate our movement is stronger than ever, but we're counting on this grassroots team to help us hit it. So we are asking:

If you can, please consider making a $3 contribution to Chris's re-election campaign before our FEC deadline on March 31.

Thank you in advance for chipping in. Your support helps us keep this Senate seat blue and build our Senate majority.
