Volunteer and Board engagement is one of the most important aspects of nonprofit management, and also one of the most challenging. Our panel of on-the-ground experts will be tackling the issue from all sides and providing attendees with actionable advice to implement in your own organizations. Our panel will also include advice for for-profit partners on how to set up a successful volunteer program at your company to create meaningful engagement opportunities for your employees.
The session will include a moderated Q&A, as well as optional breakout rooms with the panelists, where attendees can network and get answers to their specific questions from the panelists and their peers.
Panelists:
- Lisa Fikes, President & CEO, Leadership Center for Excellence
- Megan Niewold, Community Impact Manager, Arlington Community Federal Credit Union
- Emily Page, Executive Director, Phoenix Bikes
- Nicholas Stacy, Volunteer Coordinator, Animal Welfare League of Arlington
- Moderated by Christina Armstrong, Chief Philanthropic Partnerships Officer, Bridges to Independence
