Dear John,

With incidents of bias and hate on the rise in our schools, we want to highlight this critical ADL Education resource
[link removed]
"Responding to Bias Incidents in Middle and High Schools."

This toolkit uses ADL’s “P.E.A.C.E.” framework to guide you in proactively preparing for and responding to hate and bias-related incidents. In it, you'll also find descriptions of incidents most frequently reported to ADL as well as an overview of several hate symbols, slurs and culturally embedded stereotypes with appropriate reflection and discussion questions.

We know that school safety and equity are key priorities for schools. An important way to convey this is to take bias incidents seriously and respond both immediately and effectively.

By addressing harmful language and behaviors, educators and school administrators can actively challenge bias, cultivate inclusivity and model how students can do the same.
