Vice
President Kamala Harris detailed a new plan the White
House says will help close the racial wealth gap and eliminate racial
bias in home appraisals during an event on Wednesday.
“They’ve concocted a program and scheme that will for political
purposes inflate the values of homes, making it harder for purchasers and
renters to afford housing,” said Tom Fritton, president of Judicial
Watch. “It further shows how the [critical race theory] agenda is the
animating narrative of the entire Biden administration.”

The
NYPD’s new anti-gun units hit the streets last week and not a moment too
soon. New York City is in the midst of a staggering crime wave. Over the
past weekend, 29 people were shot in 24 separate incidents, the Daily
News reported. According to the latest NYPD statistics, major felonies
in the city increased 58% in February 2022, in year over year comparisons
to February 2021. Murders rose 10%. Felony assaults rose 22%. Rapes
increased 35%. Robberies increased 56%. Hate crimes—largely against Jews
and Asian-Americans—surged 189%. Crimes in the transit systems—mainly
the subways—were up 73%.

Maryland’s highest court moves state primary to July 19 – The

The Washington Post
Maryland’s highest court on Tuesday moved the state’s primary from
June 28 to July 19, as courts weigh challenges to the state’s new
legislative map as well as Maryland’s congressional map.
The trial involves two lawsuits. One was brought by a group of Republican
state lawmakers backed by Fair Maps Maryland. The other was brought by the
national conservative activist group Judicial Watch.
