My corporate opponent refuses to support Medicare for All and has come out publicly against it, using Republican talking points to do so.

No surprise then that, according to OpenSecrets, he’s taken $246,716 from pharmaceutical and health product corporations.

My campaign can’t be bought. Unlike my opponent, I don’t take a single dollar from corporate PACs and I never will. That means I need your help, because I’m not lining my campaign coffers with money from the medical industrial complex. Please chip in here, because we need Medicare for All. [[link removed]]

Unlike my corporate opponent, I also oppose the privatization of existing Medicare.

Over one-fifth of WA’s 6th Congressional District is 65+ years old, and we cannot afford to jeopardize their healthcare. Continuing Trump’s program to sell off Medicare to private insurance companies would be a disaster. Privatization worsens health outcomes for Seniors, because it takes away their medical choice.

Seniors’ health is more important to me than lining the pockets of private equity firms and Wall Street CEOs. Seniors don’t need middlemen getting between them and their doctor.

I stand with Physicians for a National Health Program and Rep Pramila Jayapal in opposing the enrichment of healthcare CEOs at the expense of Seniors.

I stand with Medicare. I stand with our Seniors.
