There's a tight congressional race going on in Oregon, John, and we need your help.
In just a few weeks, ballots will be mailed out in OR-05, where people's champion Jamie McLeod-Skinner is running a primary challenge against one of the House's most corporate Democrats.
We know we can win and send this advocate for affordable housing, climate action, and a livable wage to Washington. But to do that, we need WFP supporters like you to join a phone bank this week to talk with OR-05 voters about electing a leader like Jamie to represent Oregon’s working families.
WFP and Indivisible are coming together to make calls on Thursday, March 24 starting at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET and on Saturday, March 26th starting 11 AM PT/1 PM ET. Click here to sign up for a shift, and we'll let our team know you're coming.

We at the Working Families Party are proud to support Jamie McLeod-Skinner for OR-05. She saw the effects of climate change up close and personal when wildfires ravaged the west coast last year. That's when Jamie got to work leading recovery efforts, rebuilding her community and proving that she's a leader ready to make real, tangible change.
Jamie would be a committed advocate for affordable housing, a living wage, climate justice, and so much more in the House of Representatives. As an engineer, attorney, and small business owner, we know she has the knowledge and the experience to fight for the policies our country needs — and win.
The incumbent, Kurt Schrader, has spent the last few years throwing up roadblocks against key legislation that would help the American people — from the PRO Act for worker's rights, to the American Rescue Plan at the height of the pandemic, to the Build Back Better Act — Rep. Schrader has consistently put the needs of his corporate donors over the people he was elected to represent.
The choice is clear, John. But with just a few weeks until ballots go out, we’re still three points down. With your help, we can send Jamie McLeod-Skinner to Washington and give the people of OR-05 the representation they deserve.
Will you join a phone bank for Jamie this week? Just a few hours of calls could make the difference in this race.
