John, make no mistake, I will always stand up for reproductive rights. That’s why I’ve called on the Michigan state legislature to repeal a 1931 statute that would criminalize abortion services if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

We need to double down today to ensure that reproductive rights are protected now and for generations to come. But the only way to do so is to elect pro-choice governors.

Governors are our last line of defense on the most important issues we face – from protecting the right to vote, to investing in public education, to ensuring that reproductive freedoms aren’t erased.
