[1]NNU - Medicare for All!
Time is of the essence.
Senator Bernie Sanders just announced his plans to re-introduce Medicare
for All legislation in the Senate, which means the clock is ticking to get
your Democratic senator(s) signed on to the bill.
The good news is that so many people signed up to join your state’s Senate
Organizing Committee – but now they need your help to put as much pressure
on your senator(s) as possible.
[ [link removed] ]Will you take the first step and add your name to the
official petition calling on Senator Casey cosponsor Medicare for All?
After you sign, your name will be included in the delivery of this
petition to their offices. The more signatures we have from constituents
across Pennsylvania, the stronger our pressure will be.
This petition is just one small step in a larger organizing
plan. We invited all of you
to join the Senate Organizing Committee for your state – and we already
hosted two orientation calls to talk about the goals and next steps for
the program! Take a look:

Dozens of states were represented on the calls with more growing everyday.
Already, we have 28 committees up and running in every state with at least
one Democratic senator with the goal of organizing statewide to get them
to sign on as a cosponsor before the bill is introduced.
The introduction of this bill in 2019 was a powerful moment that signaled
growing and widespread support for Medicare for All. You may remember that
five senators running for president cosponsored the bill – Sens. Cory
Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie
Sanders.
We must start mobilizing now so we can exceed the number of cosponsors
from 2019 and let our senators see the widespread support for Medicare for
All across the country.
Thank you so much for adding your name, and we’ll be in touch with more
ways to take action soon.
