Our taxpayer money goes toward failed government pet projects, or worse: funding the corrupt schemes of our government officials. Meanwhile, struggling Illinoisans see less and less money in their pockets every year.

 

If you drive a car or own a house, the tax burden gets even worse, because Illinois has the second highest gas tax and the second highest real estate tax in the entire country! With such a massive burden on taxpayers’ shoulders, it’s no wonder Illinoisans are leaving our state for our lower-tax neighbors like Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
