During his first State of the Union address a few weeks ago, President Biden called on Congress to finally pass new policies for paid family and medical leave.

I couldn't agree more with the president.

When I was in the Air Force, the expectation was that most active duty service members were men, and that their spouses – mostly women – would stay home to take care of their children. But that wasn't my situation, and that's not the situation for thousands of families across the United States.

Paid family leave is an investment in our economic growth. That's why I led the effort to get Paid Family Leave for all federal employees, and why I continue to work to expand that right to all Americans. 

As I work to expand paid family leave, I need to know if you're with me on this, friend, and I still need 201 responses from 20712 before midnight tonight:
