This coming Monday, we’ll begin our time in Coatesville with a veterans’ listening session. This will be my chance to listen to those in our community who will be most impacted: our veterans. We are interested in hearing directly from you on Monday, March 28th from 9 - 9:45 am about what you want for the future of the Coatesville VA Medical Center. I hope you’ll join us to share your thoughts, and I know you share my commitment to securing care for veterans in our community. I’m here to serve as your voice and will take your concerns down to Washington, D.C. In case you missed it, I sent an open letter to VA Secretary McDonough last week which you can read here.
In keeping with my commitment to holding town halls, immediately following the session on the Coatesville VAMC, we will shift gears to our town hall program from 10 - 11:00 am to discuss economic development and infrastructure investment. Thanks to legislation like the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, our community, Commonwealth, and country are set to receive historic investments in our infrastructure over the next 10 years. These investments will be good for business, and I’m looking forward to the chance to better explain how they will benefit our community and answer any questions you may have.
Both of these events will take place at Coatesville City Hall and I want to make it clear that you are welcome to join us for both events, but it’s up to you— we understand you have a busy schedule. If you have time to attend just one, I sincerely hope that you will. Hearing from our community is one of my favorite parts of serving as your representative and I look forward to seeing you.
If you are unable to attend this event, please always feel free to get in touch with my office through our website. You can also find updates on all our work on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Whether it’s at this event or another in the future, I hope to see you about our community soon. Please be well!
Warmly,
